Builds things. Leads teams.
Fluent in enterprise, conversational with AI.
Decades in life sciences commercial technology — moving medicine from lab to patient and building the tools that didn't exist yet. Looking for the next team to do it with.
I've always cared about how things work and how they look. It turns out those aren't different skills.
I'm a senior technology leader with deep roots in life sciences commercial systems — the CRM platforms, data infrastructure, and go-to-market technology that pharmaceutical and biotech companies rely on to operate. I've built and led teams that deliver these systems at enterprise scale, and increasingly at the intersection of that work and AI — integrating it into commercial systems at Genentech and continuing to develop that practice.
I'm also a builder in the practical sense. I write code, ship websites, build with embedded hardware, and run AI models — local and cloud. Lately I've been deep in OpenClaw — writing skills and actively contributing to the project. Not as a hobby separate from my career — but as a habit of staying close to the technology itself, which makes me a better strategist and a more credible advisor.
The through-line is this: I care about how things work and how they hold up. Systems that are well-architected, operations that actually run, outcomes that are measurable. Whether that's a Veeva deployment, a LIMS implementation, or a marketing automation stack that has to work on launch day.
SF Bay Area. Open to Director / Sr. Director roles, consulting, and the occasional interesting problem that doesn't fit either category. School of Visual Arts, Continuing Education in Design — which probably explains why I care as much about how things look as how they work.
Led product management for LIMSConnect — LabConnect's enterprise implementation of Sapio Sciences LIMS, replacing legacy laboratory systems across a global network of central labs supporting biopharma and CRO clinical trials. Managed technical development and delivery toward deployment of a GMP/GLP-compliant platform unifying sample tracking, data workflows, and lab operations at scale.
Led a $10M+ migration from legacy CRM to Veeva CRM Suite — the HCP commercial platform serving 25+ cross-functional teams — simultaneously standing up a net-new enterprise MDM platform, integrating AI-driven predictive analytics and personalization, improving adoption by 40% with zero production disruption. Also directed the Salesforce patient CRM, unifying siloed processes and reducing cross-functional inefficiencies by 30%.
Built and led global commercial data and analytics platforms across 70+ countries, supporting six rare disease therapy launches and the patients who depend on them. Led architecture and operations of enterprise systems: Salesforce CRM, Adobe Marketo Engage, SQL Server, Oracle data warehouse. Led digital marketing operations globally with a 30% boost in campaign ROI. Advanced from Associate Director to Sr. Director over 12 years.
Directed Small Business Card, ITA, and Partnership direct marketing campaigns in partnership with Acxiom, generating 24M+ annual customer contacts across 480 campaigns. Served as technical lead for a 60-terabyte Oracle prospect database — 2.5 billion consumer records — supporting 300M+ annual credit card solicitations and driving acquisition of 3.3M new accounts in 2007. Led development of the small business card technical prospecting processes and database platform. Streamlined campaign production operations, cutting cycle times 20% and delivering $1.5M in annual cost savings.
I've built production integrations with Claude, OpenAI, and Gemini. I run local models via Ollama in my homelab, prototype agentic workflows, and evaluate AI tooling with the skepticism of someone who also has to implement it. This isn't a checkbox on my resume. It's how I work.
Salesforce and Veeva platform strategy, architecture, and delivery for life sciences commercial teams. From requirements to rollout.
Opportunity assessment, vendor evaluation, and hands-on builds. Working with Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, and local models via Ollama.
Full-stack commercial technology for pharma and biotech: LIMS, MDM, Marketo, Tableau, and the connective tissue between them.
Part-time senior leadership for growth-stage biotech and medtech. Strategic oversight, team building, and hands-on execution — 1–3 days a week.
Outside of work I build tools, run infrastructure for experiments I don't always finish, and ship websites for music I make. Not everything ships. Some of it probably shouldn't. But the habit of picking up a problem and not putting it down until it does something — that one carries over.
